As a lead Systems Engineer, support the Canadian Coast Guard’s innovative icebreaker fleet development. Manage a skilled engineering team and ensure compliance with essential regulations.

This position requires leadership and deep knowledge in marine engineering, steering a team of technical specialists to achieve project goals. You will engage with both internal and external stakeholders, promote continuous improvement, and provide pivotal oversight on regulations while managing risks effectively across projects.

Key Responsibilities: • Direct a team of engineers in technical execution • Ensure adherence to classification societies’ regulations • Report project performance to senior management • Liaise with vendors for compliance verification • Manage subcontractor risks and project timelines

Requirements: • Bachelor's degrees in Engineering or Naval Architecture • Ten years of marine engineering experience • Five years in a leadership role • Robust understanding of maritime regulations • Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluency in both French and English
