Client Global Asset Management is seeking Quantitative Developers to join our Toronto‑based Quantitative Development team. You will partner directly with the Quantitative Research and Investments team to deliver technology and analytics solutions supporting quantitative investment processes.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Halifax, NS CAD $100k - CAD$108k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and support production‑grade quantitative models and portfolio optimisation tools
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using software engineering best practices
- Develop and maintain code with appropriate test automation, documentation, and peer review
- Work within a 9‑member Agile software development team
- MATLAB: Expert in building production‑ready quantitative models and optimisation solutions
- Python: Strong experience with pandas for data analysis
- Financial Knowledge: Understanding of asset management and quantitative investing; proven experience with financial data and calculations
- Quantitative Skills: Demonstrated mathematical and statistical capabilities
Preferred, but not required
- Master of Mathematical Finance (MMF)
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Experience with Databricks
