We''re partnering with a respected small-to-mid-sized CPA firm in Toronto that is looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant to its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, taking ownership of engagements, and building a long-term career within a collaborative public accounting environment. You''ll gain exposure to a diverse client base while working alongside experienced Partners and Managers who are invested in your professional development.

What You''ll Be Doing

- Prepare and review corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns.
- Assist with tax planning and identify opportunities to minimize client tax liabilities.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues while ensuring compliance with current tax legislation.
- Support CRA audits and respond to client tax inquiries.
- Mentor and review the work of junior staff members.
- Collaborate with Partners and Managers on a variety of tax engagements and special projects.

What We''re Looking For

- 2+ years of public accounting tax experience in a Canadian CPA firm.




- Experience preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns.
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax legislation.
- Progress toward or completion of the CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season.
- Experience with CaseWare, TaxPrep, Profile, or similar tax software is an asset.
