ATCO Frontec seeks a talented Relief Chef to enhance the Camp Services team at the Artemis Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. This role emphasizes high-quality food service management in a rotational capacity.
As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for the entire kitchen’s operation, from menu creation to ensuring the kitchen’s cleanliness. You’ll lead kitchen personnel, control costs, and manage food supplies effectively. The position allows you to utilize your culinary expertise and leadership abilities in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage food services in line with company protocols
• Engage in comprehensive food preparation practices
• Oversee and train kitchen staff effectively




• Ensure proper ordering of kitchen supplies
• Foster excellent customer relations and service
Requirements:
• Red Seal Chef Certification required
• 5+ years as Head Chef in the industry
• Advanced Food Protected Level 2 Certificate needed
• Hold valid CSTS and First Aid certifications
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills
