In this role, LLRIBHS is looking for a Parent Support Worker who will assist families with children from birth to age six. You will engage in proactive home support utilizing a strength-based model, teaching health-related topics, and coordinating with health care teams. Your advocacy will help ensure families access essential health services and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver in-home support for child development
• Provide group sessions on health promotion
• Work alongside the Community Health Nurse for program delivery
• Act as a liaison and advocate for families




• Plan and facilitate educational workshops
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Certificate or related experience
• Training in Growing Outstanding Kids Curriculum or willingness to learn
• First Aid, CPR, and Safe Food Handling certifications required
• Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License necessary
