The opportunity

We are hiring new and upcoming graduate Diagnostic Medical Sonographers who are completing or have recently completed an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and are preparing to write, or have recently written, their Sonography Canada exams

New graduates will begin scanning in general ultrasound, with structured retraining into additional specialties aligned to Mayfair’s protocols and clinical standards as they progress

Key responsibilities

- Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and standards of practice
- Ensure diagnostic image quality, patient safety, and professional standards




- Apply foundational clinical judgment to optimize imaging and differentiate findings
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists and clinic teams to support efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Qualifications

- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program recognized by Sonography Canada
- Eligible for or holding Sonography Canada and ACMDTT credentials
- Strong foundational scanning skills and commitment to patient centered care
- Effective communication, time management, and teamwork skills
