Title: Welding Machine Operator

Type: Permanent; Full‑time Regular
Salary: $36.00 per hour
Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
Work setting: Warehouse
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Run automated and semi‑automated welding equipment to manufacture and restore metal components
- Handle metal‑joining equipment used for fusing and sealing fabricated products
- Oversee welding systems and ensure continuous production operations
- Inspect finished products to ensure welding quality and compliance with specifications
- Support troubleshooting and basic servicing of welding‑related machinery and tools
- Modify machine settings,
fixtures, and attachments based on production requirements
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following workplace safety standards
- Conduct on‑site maintenance and repair services
Professional Skills and Requirements
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Completion of a diploma or bachelor's program in a related field is preferred
- Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience is required in the position or a related position
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented, multi‑tasking environment
- Ability to lift heavy weights, meet tight deadlines, and attend to detail
- Ability to work independently, flexible for all shifts, good time management, organisational, positive teamwork and interpersonal skills
