As a vital member of our Orthopaedic Department, this role offers a chance to collaborate with five experienced surgeons. The focus is on general community orthopaedics, with opportunities in hip/knee arthroplasty and sports surgery. Candidates with fellowship training in arthroplasty, trauma, or lower extremity are encouraged to apply, as team cohesion is a priority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general orthopedic care and specialized treatments
• Participate in elective OR time and hospital-based cast clinic
• Share on-call responsibilities, averaging 1:5
• Engage in locum placement for team integration
• Maintain certification with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
Requirements:
• Eligible for FRCSC certification in orthopaedics
• Experience with community orthopedic practices
• Open to sharing office space arrangements
• Commitment to a patient-centric approach
• Licensed to practice in British Columbia
