Are you a bilingual HR professional ready to make an impact? Our client, a dynamic, growing Canadian organization with 47 locations and nearly 1,300 employees nationwide, is looking for a **Bilingual HR Generalist** to join their high-performing HR team!
About the Opportunity
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted HR role supporting 500-600 employees across Ontario and Quebec (including ~100 employees in Quebec). You'll report to an experienced HR leader who is a natural coach, values collaboration, and is committed to empowering her team with the tools and resources to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and workplace issues
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Oversee disability claims management (STD/LTD) and workers' compensation - especially Quebec processes
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and leave management
- Ensure compliance with Ontario and Quebec employment legislation
- Partner with leadership on performance management and employee development
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and onboarding efforts
- Contribute to employee engagement, change management, and D&I; initiatives
What You Bring
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) - required
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a multi-site, multi-provincial environment
- Strong knowledge of disability claims management (STD/LTD) and leave administration
- Expertise in Ontario and Quebec employment laws and workers' compensation
- Exceptional relationship-building and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with HRIS (UltiPro) and tools like Power BI is an asset
