The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre seeks a Clinical Psychotherapist dedicated to delivering compassionate psychosocial care while engaging in research. This role interweaves clinical responsibilities with educational and project management duties.
As part of the Supportive Care Department at the University Health Network, this temporary full-time role spans clinical practice and educational facilitation. You'll implement evidence-based care and coordinate workshops for clinical trainees, reinforcing learning experiences in the oncology setting. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is critical for supporting patient journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to cancer patients
• Execute psychosocial assessments for individuals and families




• Participate in case discussions and interdisciplinary care
• Guide educational programs for clinical trainees
• Manage research projects related to oncology care
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Psychology or Health-related field
• 2-3 years of psychotherapy experience required
• Member of a recognized health profession college
• Experience in trauma and depression treatment preferred
• Robust facilitation and communication skills
Support and innovate patient care as a Psychotherapist at UHN, ensuring quality psychosocial interventions and training.
