This role emphasizes advanced quality planning, launch readiness, and production support, including APQP execution and structured launch activities, while supporting in‐country assembly (ICA) and localization efforts through on‐site and remote engagement.The successful candidate will support monitoring of manufacturing and field quality performance, apply structured problem‐solving methods, assist with corrective actions, and work cross‐functionally to support robust launches and sustained production quality.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist the Quality Manager, as tasked, to address quality assurance process issues and drive issues back to upstream / front‐end processes to understand escapes and prevent recurrenceCompile and analyze quality performance data, develop graphs, charts and quality reports.Participate/audit/drive QA metricsLead or support Zero Defect Program (ZDP) activities for assigned areas and/or key metricsLead or support PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), CAR (Corrective Action Request), and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) processes for both customer and internal quality issuesFollow structured problem‐solving approaches using 8D, A3, or Six Sigma tools and techniquesCoordinate with Production, Operations Engineering,



Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to conduct product and process failure analysis and support corrective and preventive actionsParticipate in and support APQP activities throughout the product lifecycle, including development, launch, and post‐launch stabilizationSupport product launch readiness activities, including participation in launch gate reviews and readiness assessmentsApply working knowledge of PPAP requirements and documentation to support launch readiness, supplier engagement, and issue resolutionFunction as project coordinator or team member, as required, in support of cross‐functional task teams addressing specific quality or launch concernsInvestigate internally generated and supplier‐caused deficiencies to determine causes, corrective actions, and disposition of defectsPrepare reports, corrective action statements, metrics, and supporting documentation for assigned product lines and programsSupport containment activities during launch and production, as requiredConduct developmental Quality Assurance and process auditsMust be able to communicate quality data and status in daily, weekly, and monthly meetingsMust be able to create ECR/ECO/PR documentation through TeamcenterMust be able to sign off ECR/CECO/WICI/LOG/RFV documentation through TeamcenterMust be able to use the ERP LN (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemProvide regular progress and status reports to managementTravel to Service Centers, supplier sites, and in‐country assembly locations to support audits, launch activities, issue resolution, and localization effortsDesired Skills and KnowledgeAbility to read and write technical reportsAbility to read and understand complex technical and customer requirementsAbility to research, investigate,



and interview to support root‐cause analysisAbility to communicate quality data and impact clearly to gain cross‐functional alignment and buy‐in.Experience supporting APQP, PFMEA, and launch‐related quality activitiesKnowledge and understanding of PPAP requirements and intentExperience applying structured root‐cause methodologies (8D, PFMEA, RCCA)Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt designation is an assetQuality Assurance, Auditing, and Investigation experience is an assetKnowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 processesProfessional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation is an assetStrong oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically across organizationsStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‐paced, launch‐driven manufacturing environmentPrior experience working with complex regulated products, defense, or similar environments is highly desiredExperience & Education RequirementsRequires proficient knowledge of job area. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.*This posting is for a current vacancy.
