Embark on an HSE Engineering Co-Op with IKO Industries Ltd. in Milton, Ontario, for 8 or 12 months starting in Fall 2026. This role empowers you to directly impact plant maintenance operations and safety practices.
As a Co-Op student, you will closely work with the Plant Maintenance team to design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in critical asset management. This position is excellent for engineering students ready to enhance their skills in a dynamic industrial environment, collaborating with experienced Millwrights and Electricians, and driving engineering projects that deliver operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop SOPs and SWIs in partnership with the team
• Shadow and support the Maintenance Manager




• Refine existing PM and PdM maintenance tasks
• Optimize spare parts for high-priority assets
• Prepare project drawings and engineering models
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a post-secondary engineering program
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with CMMS, particularly Maximo
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Critical thinking and organizational skills
