Join Bombardier's EMC team as a Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, focusing on aircraft safety against electromagnetic threats. Your expertise will guide compliance and mitigation strategies while ensuring top industry standards.
In this senior role, you will report to the Engineering EMC Section Chief and will be integral to the Functional, Systems, Research, and technology department. Your responsibilities will center around leading complex assignments, resolving EMI and lightning-related issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also mentor junior team members while managing project scopes and risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead analyses for EMI, HIRF, LIRF, and Lightning
• Define project scopes and plan EMC engineering activities




• Review and approve engineering documentation for compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in EMC principles
• Support multidisciplinary R&D; collaborations on Electromagnetics
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
• Minimum of 8 years in EMC, 4 years in aerospace
• Familiarity with RTCA/DO-160 and FAA Regulations
• Proficient problem-solving skills in multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools preferred
