About the Position

We are currentlylooking for an independent contractor who is detail-oriented to join our Fall Mum Program as a Floral Merchandiser. Thisis a seasonal opportunity supporting the merchandising and care of fall mumdisplays at assigned retail locations.

Job Overview

We are seeking areliable and organized Floral Merchandiser to maintain and care for seasonalfall mum displays across assigned retail locations. In this role, you willensure displays remain attractive, healthy, well-stocked, and properly pricedthroughout the program. Previous plant knowledge is an asset but is notrequired.

Targeted Start Date

One onboarding/servicevisit on August 13–14 , with the firstfull week of service beginning the week ofAugust 17 (subject to change based on product staging).

Program Duration

Seasonal assignment runninguntil stores sell out, for a maximum of 8 weeks . The week prior to Thanksgiving will bethe final week of service if product remains.

Hours

3-6 per week

Service Schedule

- 3 visits perweek
- 1–2 hoursper visit
- Visits must be scheduled withatleast 1 day between visits and no more than 2 days between visits to maintain product quality.

Starting Rate: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities

- Visit assigned stores 3 times perweek according to the required service schedule.




- Organize, merchandise, andrefresh fall mum displays to ensure an attractive shopping experience.
- Water and care for plantsaccording to their needs to maintain healthy, vibrant product.
- Remove damaged or unsellableproduct as required and keep display areas clean and organized.
- Ensure all products arecorrectly priced and labels are clearly visible.
- Submit detailed call reportsafter each visit, documenting display condition, inventory, and completedtasks.
- Follow merchandisingstandards and communicate any concerns regarding inventory or productquality.

Qualifications

- Ability to work independentlyand efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Strong attention to detailand excellent organizational skills.
- Previous plant or gardencenter experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift and movefloral products and display materials.
- Strong communication and timemanagement skills.
- Reliable vehicle and validdriver's licence to travel between assigned store locations.
