About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to champion student-athlete success and elevate university sport across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight, with a focus on modernizing operations, expanding sponsorships, and positioning the organization as a national leader in student-athlete welfare and inclusivity. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors, a talented team, and member institutions to enhance the brand and visibility of the organization, champion student-athlete welfare, and modernize governance structures. The CEO will also be expected to drive forward-thinking strategies, foster transparency and trust,
and strengthen relationships with various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for the CEO position at the company will have a deep background in sports management, particularly in university or collegiate athletics, and possess strong business and marketing acumen. Senior leadership experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and financial management is essential. The role requires a cooperative and authentic leadership style, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. The candidate should be a principled, student-centric leader with the energy and vision to transform the organization for long-term success. A post-secondary degree is required, with a Master’s degree considered an asset, and bilingualism in English and French is preferred.
