As a Substation Studies Engineer at Jacobs, you'll engage in comprehensive power system analyses to support substation planning and design. This role requires a minimum of four years of direct experience and a strong background in power system modeling tools. You'll be a key contributor to ensuring that substations are effective and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct insulation coordination and arc flash studies • Review and validate power system models • Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders • Support substation design and engineering projects • Collaborate on multi-phase systems studies
Requirements: • Degree in electrical engineering from accredited institution • Minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant studies • Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD • Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC and IEEE • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
