This permanent, full time position reports to the Director of Thermofluids Engineering. You will play a vital role in designing cryogenic systems for superconducting magnets within our stellarator program. Ideal candidates will showcase analytical capabilities and thrive in a collaborative R&D; environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thermodynamic calculations on cryogenic systems
• Conduct numerical modeling and analysis of cryogenic behavior
• Support design and integration of cryogenic hardware




• Develop thermal/fluid models to guide design decisions
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure compatibility
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Cryogenic Engineering
• Experience in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
• Proficient in analysis tools like ANSYS and COMSOL
• Knowledge of cryogenic design principles
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
