Become an Overnight Awake Residential Night Worker at Taproot Community Support Services in Kelowna, BC. This full-time role focuses on resident safety and individualized care during night shifts.
As a permanent, full-time Overnight Awake Residential Night Worker, you will monitor the well-being of residents in a supportive workplace designed for young adults with complex medical needs. You will ensure safety, administer medications, and assist residents with their routines while maintaining a clean and comfortable living space. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to our team as we foster a healing atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor residents’ needs throughout the night
• Respond to emergencies according to protocol




• Assist with morning and evening routines
• Administer medications as directed
• Perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Grade 12 with 6 months relevant experience
• Valid CPR/First Aid and WHMIS certifications
• Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention Certificate
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Experience in trauma-informed practice
