Contribute to children's health as a Clinical Engineer at SickKids. This role centers on the lifecycle management of medical equipment within a collaborative healthcare workplace.
In this position, reporting to the Medical Engineering Director, you will manage medical equipment planning, procurement, and integration across clinical settings. Your collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will ensure the successful deployment of cutting-edge medical technologies, enhancing patient outcomes while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead vendor evaluation and capital planning processes
• Manage equipment project status and milestones
• Support integration of medical devices with hospital systems
• Evaluate equipment lifecycle and performance metrics
• Train clinical staff on new technologies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
• Previous experience in hospital environments preferred
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team
