The Actuarial Analyst, Capital will support LICAT reporting and perform financial condition testing within ivari's Corporate Actuarial Department. This role demands a solid understanding of actuarial tasks such as capital management, sensitivity analysis, and earnings analysis. You'll collaborate with fellow analysts and managers, offering insights to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support quarterly LICAT regulatory capital reporting
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis for economic impacts




• Participate in quantitative impact studies for capital changes
• Develop and maintain actuarial models for fund products
• Prepare management reports and presentations
Requirements:
• University degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in life insurance
• Progressing toward ASA or ACIA designation
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 and LICAT
• Solid Excel skills; experience with SQL or Python is an asset
