E4C seeks a compassionate Youth Worker to foster the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of marginalized youth. Your efforts will include conducting assessments, advocating for youth, and building strong relationships. Collaborate closely with care teams and families to create individualized care plans that promote resilience and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and advocate with external agencies
• Build trusting relationships and provide crisis intervention
• Assist youth with daily routines and life skills activities
• Maintain safety and a positive home atmosphere
• Facilitate hands-on educational and employment opportunities
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related
• 3+ years experience with marginalized youth
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and proof of insurance
• Training in First Aid, CPR, and Trauma Informed Care
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation
