You will process applications, conduct research, and prepare reports while assisting the Planner of the Day with zoning inquiries. Your role will also involve collaborating with community members at public meetings and providing guidance on land-use strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and prepare reports for planning applications
• Review development applications and present recommendations




• Provide direction for application processing and visual aids
• Conduct research to support land-use plans and studies
• Engage with the public at meetings and hearings
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in urban planning or related field
• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of Ontario’s legislative planning regime
• Membership eligibility in OPPI
• Experience with GIS and project management software
