As a Surveyor at MacKay, you’ll focus on layout, grade control, and data collection on diverse construction sites. A minimum of two years in surveying, combined with the ability to interpret engineering plans, is essential for success. Your role ensures productive project execution while collaborating with Project Managers and on-site crews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct construction layout for earthworks and infrastructure
• Collect field data with Topcon GPS instruments
• Verify elevations, grades, and construction layouts
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment for accuracy
• Create precise survey reports and documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum of two years in surveying for civil construction
• Understanding of construction methods
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and survey technology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
