Ensure workplace safety at the London District Catholic School Board as a Temporary Specialist in Health and Safety. Support staff and management with claims reporting and OH&S; compliance.
This full-time, temporary contract role starts on August 17, 2026, lasting until August 17, 2027. You will collaborate with the People and Culture Team while ensuring confidentiality and accurate incident record-keeping. A background in Occupational Health & Safety or Human Resources is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records for occupational health and safety
• Report on WSIB claims and incident trends
• Conduct workplace inspections and make safety recommendations
• Assist in delivering safety training sessions




• Build relationships with community partners for safety compliance
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a unionized workplace
• Relevant post-secondary education in OH&S; or HR
• JHSC certification considered an asset
• Knowledge of WSIB legislation and OH&S; procedures
• Valid Ontario driver's license required
