We are looking for a Senior Assurance Accountant to join our team. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, united by a shared commitment to making a difference for our clients, communities, and each other.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute audit, review and assurance engagements
- Prepare and review T2 (corporate), T1 (personal), T3 (trust) tax returns as well as T4/T5 summaries and slips
- Prepare and review compilation engagement reports
- Assist partners with tax planning and compliances
- Mentor and train junior staff
- Other accounting, tax, and administrative duties, as required
Qualifications
- Canadian CPA designation
- Cashflow experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public practice accounting and tax
- Great organization and communication skills
- Ability to excel in high-pressure working environments
- Can do attitude with the desire and ability to take on recent tasks
- Experience working in a team-based environment
- The desire to grow your career in a mid-size public accounting firm
