Our client, a prominent mining company based in Vancouver, seeks an experienced Area Manager - Process Plant. You will manage engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities while ensuring alignment and safety at all steps. Your leadership will guide stakeholders and enhance long-term asset performance across major mining activities in the South-American region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead major process plant infrastructure projects • Coordinate multidisciplinary project interfaces and priorities • Monitor contractor and EPCM performance compliance • Oversee construction readiness and execution planning • Support commissioning and operational handover activities
Requirements: • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management • 15-25+ years in large-scale mining or industrial projects • Solid background in construction management and operational readiness • Proven skills in stakeholder management and leadership • Experience in engineering through to handover phases
