In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (IHAL) is seeking dedicated, caring, and reliable Live‑In Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Caregivers to provide 24-hour, in‑home support to clients in the comfort and safety of their own homes. What You Should Know

Location: Mississauga, ON (client homes)
Shift: Live‑In – 24‑hour shifts

What You’ll Do

Personal Support & Daily Care

- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support mobility, walking, and safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair)

Home Support

- Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and serve meals based on client preferences and dietary needs

Health & Safety Assistance

- Offer medication reminders and support daily routines
- Complete daily care reports and communicate observations to the Case Manager or healthcare team

Companionship & Emotional Support

- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and provide reassurance
- Promote comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well‑being

What We’re Looking For

- PSW Certificate required
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or PSW experience as a live‑in caregiver
- CPR/First Aid Certification required




- Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) or Non‑Violent Crisis Prevention preferred
- Ability to use a mobile phone for documentation and time tracking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A second language is an asset
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to respond calmly to unexpected situations
- Strong commitment to client safety, dignity, and respect
