Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Experience with aviation parts repair is required with at least 1-3 years
Duties
- Inspect products to determine the requirement for repair
- Repair or replace/using hand, power or specially designed tools as well as recommend replacement parts for defective or worn-out parts and components
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other areas as well as receive as required
- Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal usage as well as prepare packaging for shipping to locations
- Perform routine maintenance
- May calibrate products using hand tools
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Experience with aviation parts repair is required with at least 1-3 years
- Mechanically inclined with problem solving ability
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals
- Must have strong computer skills and ideally experience with inventory management systems
- Punctual, Attention to detail and strong customer service ability is required
- Drivers licence is required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to obtain RAIC certification to work in restricted areas
- Must be able to pass drug an alcohol test
