Adjudicate and manage complex, high dollar value policies in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary, digital environment. Responsible for applying applicable policy provisions, appropriate risk management strategies, which will have an impact on the company’s financial results, reputation and regulatory risks, client relationships, and business retention.

Responsibilities

- Review, approve claims based on policy contracts and calculate payments.
- Deliver top-tier service and decision making while managing reputational risk.
- Strategically manage legal, financial, and reputational risk.
- Maintain detailed records and follow all necessary procedures.
- Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members and develop relationships with key partners.
- Protect sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications

Must have:

- 1 to 3 years of adjudication of Life claims experience.
- Post secondary education.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple goals and priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively deal with customers in a professional manner with a high degree of customer service.

Compensation

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

The expected pay range for this position is: $46,000.00 - $70,000.00 . The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting.
