Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently, and client expectations are exceeded throughout the duration of the project.
- Accountable to review all details to ensure all quotes submitted are complete, accurate, and on-time capturing all project scope and trades outlined in provided bid materials.
- Review project specifications, including but not limited to RFP, drawings, insurance and bonding requirements, addendums and specifications to fully understand project scope, trades and timelines.
- Attend bid site walks to gain a full understanding of project scope and deliverables.



Collect on-site data for estimates and take offs to ensure explicit, detailed information comes back to the office for finalized estimates.
- Ensure that drawings and project specifications are sent to subtrades & subtrades have sufficient time to provide a complete and accurate proposal to the client.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in estimating ICI projects.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications putting together accurate estimates.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy while working on multiple estimating projects simultaneously.
- Ability to multi-task to manage own work, while overseeing direct report.
- Proficiency with qualifying subcontractor quotes and negotiating pricing.
- Knowledge of standard construction industry practices, processes and materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and proficiency in PlanSwift and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel to job sites within the Greater Toronto Area as required to complete estimates.
