Oxford Learning Academy seeks a dedicated Supply Teacher! This in-person role in Milton offers an opportunity to inspire and educate young learners in various subjects.
In this teaching position, you will engage with students in Kindergarten through Grade 8, offering tailored support and fostering their academic abilities. Candidates should hold Ontario Teacher Certification (OCT) and have relevant teaching or tutoring experience. You will play a vital role in enhancing students’ self-esteem and confidence through creative, individualized instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for diverse learning styles in the classroom
• Effectively manage groups of up to 12 students
• Encourage student participation and enthusiasm in learning




• Utilize Smartboard technology to enhance instruction
• Commit to working as a supply teacher until the end of the academic year
Requirements:
• Ontario Teacher Certification (OCT) in Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate
• Experience in teaching or tutoring relevant age groups
• Solid communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Ability to multitask in a busy classroom setting
• Must reside within a commutable distance from Milton, ON
