About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its Faculty of Education, a role that demands a strategic, team-oriented, and inspirational leader to guide the academic mission and strengthen excellence in research, teaching, and community engagement. Candidates for the Dean position must hold a doctorate in a relevant discipline, be eligible for appointment as a full professor, and have a distinguished record of scholarly achievement and leadership. Essential qualifications include a demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, reconciliation, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic and financial leadership, as well as experience in engaging diverse internal and external stakeholders. Vision, integrity, and the ability to inspire collaboration and excellence are also key attributes for the role. The Dean will be expected to lead the Faculty in its mission to prepare educators, community practitioners, researchers, and leaders who contribute to the development of equitable and sustainable educational systems.
