Dynacare is seeking a permanent, full time Laboratory Assistant for the LHSC facility. In this role, you will manage blood sample processing, enter requisitions accurately, and demonstrate exceptional empathy during stressful patient interactions. Key Responsibilities:
• Process blood samples and laboratory specimens accurately
• Enter patient and test information for Ministry of Health requisitions
• Use skillful venipuncture techniques to obtain blood samples




• Ensure specimens are ready for data entry and transport
• Maintain confidentiality and meet quality and compliance metrics
Requirements:
• CSMLS or BCSLS certification required
• 1+ year patient-facing phlebotomy experience preferred
• Demonstrated skill in managing anxious patients
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple LHSC locations
