Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth processing of all incoming materials through the receiving department.
- First point of contact for all incoming drivers on receiving docks.
- Process all paperwork for shipments in a timely, accurate manner.
- Provide direction to the forklift drivers on offload sequence.
- Schedule appointments/timeslots with vendors for live load receipts.
- Maintain kanban/supermarket and coordinate order requirements.
- Receive all inventory into OHM and verify accuracy of packing slip.
- Lead cycle counts.
- Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned.
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be computer literate (including Microsoft Office software).
- Have strong verbal and written skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a rapid‑paced, multi‑tasking environment while keeping correct data.
- Working knowledge of OHM order preferred.
