Job Summary

Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON location is currently looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team.

This position is responsible for maintaining/repairing heavy diesel equipment within the facility. Wage range for this position: $38-42/hour.

Responsibilities

- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform all required maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, tanker trailers, and heavy-duty trucks.




- Follow manufacturer guidelines for maintenance.
- Complete all required paperwork.
- Keep the shop area clean, tidy, and free of hazards at all times.

Qualifications

- JM Mechanic certification (310T license)
- 3+ years’ experience in maintaining one or more of the following units: pickup trucks, tractors, and trailers
- Familiarity with various types of diesel engines
- Ability to oversee, coach, and mentor apprentices and other shop laborers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Semi Annual Safety Inspection (CVI License)
