About the Role

The Company is seeking a President to lead its operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and profitability. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete P&L; of the mill, including all aspects of the business from harvesting to sales, and will be the key figure in maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including First Nations and government entities. The role involves directing production processes, setting and delivering on budgets, managing the workforce, and ensuring environmental compliance. The President will also be the face of the company in the community, particularly with Indigenous partners and regional leaders.





Candidates for the President position at the company should be seasoned business leaders with a background in paper manufacturing. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a master's degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a manufacturing facility, proficiency in strategy development, and a robust commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. They should be adept at managing complexity, be strategic thinkers, and have the ability to balance big-picture goals with attention to detail.
