As a General Duty Radiology Technologist at Shared Health, you will operate under the direction of the Senior Charge Technologist. Your role encompasses conducting diagnostic imaging, offering essential patient support, and engaging in staff training. The position also involves providing the highest standard of care while fulfilling your responsibilities within a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support radiologists in various diagnostic procedures
• Provide care and support to patients undergoing imaging
• Instruct and mentor new technologists and students




• Engage in departmental operational support activities
• Perform Bone Mineral Density imaging among other responsibilities
Requirements:
• Graduate from a Medical Imaging Technology program
• Certification from CAMRT in good standing required
• Capability to start IVs or complete departmental training
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
