We are seeking a proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Public Works team. This role includes hands-on responsibilities for maintaining the Municipal Office, Cultural Centre, and other facilities. Your expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems will significantly contribute to community operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs and maintenance across municipal facilities
• Perform plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry tasks
• Assess facilities and determine maintenance needs




• Safely operate various tools and equipment
• Respond to maintenance emergencies, including off-hours
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in building maintenance or related fields
• Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems beneficial
• Clean Class 5 Driver's Licence required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors
• Must be willing to acquire safety certifications
