As a School Psychologist in Van Dyke Public Schools, you will be at the forefront of student evaluation and support. You are responsible for tailored intervention strategies and psychological assessments for students requiring special education services. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop referral and intervention procedures for students
• Offer psychological assessments and reports as needed
• Collaborate with staff to create Individualized Education Programs
• Facilitate behavior intervention planning for at-risk students
• Implement necessary accommodations in educational environments
Requirements:
• Valid Michigan approval as a School Psychologist
• Completion of a specialist degree or equivalent
• At least 45 graduate semester hours in School Psychology
• Current certification per MDE guidelines
• Comprehensive knowledge of special education laws
