Become an Industrial Hygiene Advisor at Newmont's Red Chris Mine in British Columbia. This challenging onsite role centers on safety programs, data analysis, and exposure monitoring for a major mining project.
At this unique role, you will support the transition of Red Chris Mine to underground operations. Your focus will be on executing Industrial Hygiene plans and collaborating with site teams to improve risk management. You’ll lead safety initiatives and analyze exposure data to enhance workplace health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with teams to execute sampling campaigns
• Lead site safety meetings to strengthen culture
• Provide technical support on hygiene and safety matters
• Review and interpret health data for informed decisions
• Develop standards and guidelines with diverse teams
Requirements:
• CRSP certification or equivalent ideal
• Relevant experience in construction or mining
• Experience in underground mining operations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines preferred
• Proficient in Canadian health and safety legislation
