OCL Group, a fully integrated Canadian contractor, is looking for a seasoned Safety Advisor with at least five years of experience. Your responsibilities will include performing hazard assessments, leading job safety analyses, and managing site safety statistics. A certified National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) is preferred for this vital role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general site hazard assessments and mitigation plans
• Update hazard assessments as needed
• Review field level hazard assessments for proper completion
• Lead development of job safety analyses (JSA)
• Facilitate safety meetings at scheduled intervals
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant field safety experience
• National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Excellent communication skills
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing and criminal checks
