The role is to begin a career in claims by working as a trainee adjuster in a mentorship environment, investigating, adjusting, and examining multi‑line claims at a junior level. The position is hybrid, supporting field requests within the Whitehorse area. The trainee will receive structured training to develop the necessary skills.

Job Responsibilities

- Handling, investigating, and managing claims.
- Reviewing coverages, limitations, warranties,



and requirements to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Following guidelines and instructions.
- Preparing documents and mandatory forms as required.
- Managing a caseload of claim matters in compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
- Managing reserves, payments, and financials.
- Providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

- Builder or construction experience is a definite asset.
- Ability to obtain an adjuster’s license.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and strong organizational skills.
- Proactive initiative and follow‑up skills.
- Professionalism and work ethic.
- Strong teamwork ability.
- Aptitude for learning new computer applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Already residing in Whitehorse or the surrounding area.
