Your role:

- Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day
- Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
- Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well‑kept, professional vehicle
- Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the protected operation of the vehicle
- Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies and regulations
- Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers

Your profile:

- You are safety focused
- You hold a valid minimum full G class driver’s licence for at least 1 year
- If you don’t currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago has you covered—full training is provided at no cost to you!
- You are 21 years of age or over
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
- You have a sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas
- You have the ability to work independently
- You are available for the required shifts: Monday to Friday approximately 6:00am to 9:15am AND 1:00pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route)
- You possess solid communication skills and must be fluent in English
- You enjoy being around children of all ages




- You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions
- You are comfortable driving large vehicles
- You can have basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit

Hourly Rate:

- We offer a competitive hourly pay $23/hour!
- School routes are paid a minimum 4 hours per day!
- Charter work is available for those interested in picking up hours beyond their regular school route!

- Drivers can park their buses in the main yard, 930 Coronation Blvd., Kingston ON
- Got a driveway with some extra space? You might be able to keep your bus at home for the school year!
