This on-site role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and have a flexible schedule, committing around 5-8 hours per week for at least six months. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you’ll engage in various maintenance tasks and assist during critical facility needs while enhancing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute minor repairs, including plumbing and painting
• Conduct shelter walkthroughs to identify maintenance issues
• Assist with contractor visits for facility improvements
• Organize tools and supplies for effective use
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls when necessary
Requirements:
• Familiarity with basic maintenance and repair work
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Reliable and punctual in performing tasks
• Ability to handle and lift necessary equipment
