Join a team supporting a large Operations & Maintenance project portfolio within the oil & gas sector. This role focuses on high-volume project controls activities across cost management, forecasting, accruals, financial reporting, and P2P support for 30–40 concurrent projects. The position partners closely with Project Managers, Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain teams to maintain financial accuracy and support project performance. The environment offers steady-paced project work with primarily in-office collaboration.

Must Haves

- 5+ years in project controls , cost management , forecasting , and financial reporting
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) , invoice tracking , commitment tracking , and accruals
- Variance analysis , budget management , cash flow forecasting , and financial close activities
- Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
- Post-secondary education in a related field

Nice to Have

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- SAP
- Oil & gas or pipeline project experience
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)

Responsibilities

- Manage cost control and budget activities for assigned projects
- Develop and maintain project forecasts, cash flows, and accruals
- Perform monthly variance analysis and financial performance reporting
- Create requisitions and support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities including invoice and commitment tracking
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
- Monitor project commitments, actual costs, and forecast accuracy metrics
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, and project teams on financial reporting and invoice payments
