At DFI, we are looking for a skilled Field Welder to support our field operations and work with Helical and driven piles. You’ll play a crucial role in reading blueprints, performing structural work, and maintaining equipment during your shifts. This position demands both fieldwork and remote location assignments, providing a dynamic work workplace for experienced welders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install Helical and driven piles in various environments
• Repair and maintain the mobile welding truck and supplies
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Execute structural welding tasks with precision
• Handle all additional welding duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Journeyman Red Seal certification required
• Experience with piling foundations preferred
• Must hold CWB certifications for SMAW and FCAW
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid Class 5 license
• Willing to work out of town and in confined spaces
