BAOTU LIQUOR AND SPIRITS LTD., a retail liquor store in Alberta, is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. Our store provides customer service, sales transactions, product stocking, and general store support in a regulated retail liquor environment. We are now looking for one Cashier who is responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow all applicable liquor retail policies and procedures.

Job Title: Cashier

Vacancy: 1 position

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: AVE. Tofield, Alberta T0B 4J0

Salary: $15.50 per hour

Responsibilities

- Operate cash register and handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions
- Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
- Verify customers’ age and identification when selling liquor products
- Refuse sales to minors, intoxicated persons, or customers who do not meet legal requirements
- Bag or package purchased products for customers
- Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and ensure the store is organized




- Assist with inventory counts and report low stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the checkout area, shelves, floors, and display areas
- Handle bottles, cases, and store merchandise safely
- Follow company safety procedures, store policies, and applicable liquor retail requirements

Requirements

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Some high school education required
- ProServe Liquor Staff Training certification is required, or the candidate must be willing and eligible to obtain it as required
- Previous cashier, liquor store, or retail experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds
- Must be able to follow age-verification, responsible liquor sales, and store safety procedures
