This permanent chance allows you to gain practical experience conducting species-specific surveys, especially for avian species. You will collaborate with a supportive team of wildlife professionals, contributing to technical deliverables while working in the field for extended periods. Your role will directly influence regulatory compliance and conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife surveys, including Species at Risk assessments
• Perform bird surveys to ensure compliance
• Manage field data and contribute to reporting




• Work collaboratively in remote field locations
• Assist with project delivery and proposals as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Biology, Ecology, or similar field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in wildlife survey techniques
• Expertise in wildlife identification, particularly birds
• Familiarity with data management processes and QA/QC
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours outdoors
