Cameco is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support the development of project scopes, structural analysis, and compliance inspections. Experience hands-on structural engineering in a collaborative environment.
In this role, focus on civil engineering with an emphasis on structural design and documentation. Your contributions will aid project planning and execution, preparing specifications and performing inspections. You will also collaborate with designers to ensure the accuracy of 3D models and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support project planning through detailed analyses
• Conduct structural inspections and assessments
• Review technical memoranda and engineering assessments
• Prepare bills of materials and construction packages
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives with team input
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, focus on structures
• 2-6 years relevant project experience in mining
• APEGS and PEO registration eligibility
• Working towards Qualified Engineer status
• Class 5 driver's license for site visits
