As a Distribution Engineer at BC Hydro, you will engage in crucial projects and ongoing engineering support, contributing to climate action and economic growth across British Columbia’s distribution systems. You’ll work on enhancing systems for safety and efficiency, driving significant impact through your engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engineering studies for load growth and safety
• Oversee compliance and standards adherence for projects
• Collaborate on technical strategies and project scopes




• Engage with regional teams for operational support
• Provide mentorship for junior engineering staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) status or eligibility
• Relevant experience of at least 4-8 years
• In-depth knowledge of 35 kV systems
• Class 5 Driver’s License and travel readiness
